Zurich / Paris, october 5th 2026

Richard Albrecht joins Banque Richelieu Switzerland as Chief Executive Officer (CEO)*.

His priority will be to accelerate the growth of the bank’s business in Zurich and to establish it in Geneva.

Richard Albrecht’s mandate is to lead the Bank’s next phase of growth in the Swiss market, to strengthen the teams and the wealth management business, and to accelerate synergies with the other entities of Group Banque Richelieu.

Group Banque Richelieu has recognized expertise in exclusive and bespoke private banking services, corporate finance and asset management (including long-standing equity, fixed income & money market strategies with a proven track record). The Group’s assets under management passed over EUR 11 billion end of June 2026. With a capital and liquidity base that sits well above regulatory requirements, it aims to reach EUR 15 billion within three years, through the organic development of its businesses and, on a selective basis, through external growth opportunities in its core markets.

Richard Albrecht holds a degree in economics from the University of Geneva, as well as the Certificate of Management Excellence from Harvard Business School and the Board Director Diploma from IMD. Richard Albrecht has nearly thirty years of experience in banking and wealth management. After beginning his career at UBS and Lombard Odier, he spent the last fifteen years as head of the Swiss market for Deutsche Bank, then for BNP Paribas in Geneva, before becoming Head of Wealth Management at REYL Intesa Sanpaolo in 2023.

“I am delighted to join Group Banque Richelieu at a key moment in its development. Zurich and Geneva are strategic to our ambition and offer significant growth potential. I look forward to working with Gian Nay, Deputy CEO, and with all our teams. Our goal is to drive sustainable growth for Banque Richelieu Switzerland by leveraging the agility of our business model, the expertise of our teams, and the complementary strengths of the Group’s entities to serve our clients”, said Richard Albrecht, CEO of Banque Richelieu Switzerland.

“Richard Albrecht’s appointment marks a new chapter for Banque Richelieu Switzerland. His in-depth knowledge of the Swiss market, his wealth management experience and his leadership track record are major assets for the Bank. He has my full confidence to lead this strategic development, which will create value for our Group and our clients”, said Sylvain Fondeur, Chief Executive Officer of Compagnie Financière Richelieu (Group Banque Richelieu).
