Richelieu Invest, the asset management company of Richelieu Banking Group, which manages more than €2.5 billion in assets under management, is pleased to introduce its team of experts following the merger of Richelieu Gestion and Hugau Gestion completed last June.
The merger was designed to combine the expertise and resources of both firms to create a stronger, fully integrated organization. Richelieu Invest now comprises 21 employees, including 12 portfolio managers and analysts.

Johan Bigot, Head of Fixed Income and Multi-Asset Management
Johan Bigot graduated from ISFA in 2000 and SFAF in 2009. He began his career as an Actuarial Research Analyst at Ecofi Finance before joining BCV Finance France in 2002 as a Trader, where he was responsible for brokerage operations, proprietary trading across all asset classes, and research and development activities.
In 2006, following the creation of Hugau Gestion, he assumed responsibility for the management of money market and fixed-income funds. He became Head of Fixed Income and Multi-Asset Management at Richelieu Invest in June 2025 and serves on the Executive Committee.
Romain Mahieu, Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management & Investment Solutions
Romain Mahieu graduated from NEOMA Business School and ESCEM Business School. He began his career as a Multi-Management Portfolio Analyst at Avenir Finance IM (2006–2011), before joining Vega IM, part of Natixis Group (2011–2014).
Between 2014 and 2020, he helped develop discretionary portfolio management services for ultra-high-net-worth individuals at Vega IM. He subsequently joined Architas (AXA Group), where he was notably responsible for European equity selection. Since 2022, he served as Senior Discretionary Portfolio Manager for ultra-high-net-worth clients at Neuflize OBC (ABN AMRO Group).
He joined Richelieu Gestion in June 2024 as Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management & Investment Solutions and has served on Richelieu Invest’s Executive Committee since June 2025.
Clémence de Rothiacob, Head of European Equities
Clémence de Rothiacob has specialized in European equities and family-owned businesses for nearly 20 years. She graduated from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Toulouse with a specialization in Economics and Finance and holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
She began her career in 2004 at Close Brothers, a specialist in European small- and mid-cap companies, as an M&A Associate. In early 2005, she joined Richelieu Finance as a European Equity Analyst before becoming an international equities and commodities fund manager in 2008.
In 2014, she launched the Richelieu Family fund, dedicated to European family-owned small- and mid-cap companies, which she continues to manage. In 2025, she also assumed responsibility for managing Richelieu Invest’s European large-cap equity fund.
Guillaume Ozon, Head of U.S. Equities
A graduate of Grenoble École de Management and a CFA Charterholder, Guillaume Ozon began his career at Alienor Capital in 2013 as an Assistant Portfolio Manager.
He subsequently worked as a consultant in financial markets and debt management at Finance Active (2015–2016), before joining KPMG Corporate Finance (2016–2017), where he specialized in valuation and corporate finance strategy.
In 2017, he joined Dubly Transatlantique Gestion as an International Equity Portfolio Manager and Analyst. After serving as co-manager, he became lead manager of four large-cap equity funds. From 2023, he headed the firm’s Equity Research and Collective Equity Management activities. He joined Richelieu Invest in July 2025 as Credit Analyst and Head of U.S.
Valérie Rizk, Macroeconomist and Interest Rate Strategist
Valérie Rizk is an engineering graduate specializing in signal and image processing and holds a Master’s degree from HEC Paris, with a major in Managerial and Financial Economics.
She began her career at Société Générale in 2016, first within the Group Inspection Division, conducting assignments in France, the United Kingdom and the United States across a broad range of topics including credit risk, real estate finance, private banking (including fiduciary activities), and regulatory matters such as KYC, FATCA/CRS and Brexit.
She later joined the bank’s Economic and Sector Research Department as Sector Economist, where she coordinated sector expertise across the bank by bridging macroeconomic analysis with industry research. In 2022, she joined Hugau Gestion, where she became responsible for macroeconomic research and contributed to the firm’s investment strategy. In 2025, she was appointed Macroeconomist and Interest Rate Strategist at Richelieu Invest.
