Following the appointment of Jean-Marc Ribes as Chairman of the Executive Board in January, Banque Richelieu France is continuing to accelerate its development with the appointment of Aurélie Tristant. As a member of the Executive Board, she will lead the Private Clients division (Paris & Lyon).
“I am delighted to welcome Aurélie to this new professional chapter within Richelieu Banking Group. Her human values, professionalism and in-depth knowledge of the private banking industry are valuable assets that will further strengthen the excellence of our existing team. Banque Richelieu France benefits from a prestigious reputation and a robust business model. Our ambition is to become a leading player in wealth management in France,” said Jean-Marc Ribes, Chairman of the Executive Board.
A graduate of École Supérieure de Commerce de Rouen (NEOMA Business School), Aurélie Tristant began her career in 1988 as a Corporate Credit Analyst at Banque Vernes et Commerciale de Paris, which later became Sanpaolo and then Banque Palatine. She spent nearly 30 years there, during which she created the Ambition Award to promote entrepreneurial spirit and launched the Palatine Women’s Network to encourage gender diversity.
In 1989, she moved from headquarters to the branch network, joining the Parly 2 branch, where she became Deputy Branch Manager in 1991. Following a secondment to New York (1992–1993), she headed Special Affairs in Paris (1993–1995) and held various management positions within the French branch network (1995–2004).
Following the transformation of the bank into Banque Palatine (BPCE Group), Aurélie joined the Management Committee. She first managed the Central Branch, then the Paris-West and Northern France regional network (2004–2009). In 2009, she became Head of Marketing and joined the Executive Committee in 2011. In 2013, she was appointed Head of the Corporate Market division.
In 2018, Aurélie joined La Poste Group as a Member of the Executive Board of BPE, which later became Louvre Banque Privée, in charge of Business Development. In 2019, she combined this role with that of Executive Chairwoman of Louvre Banque Privée Immobilier Conseil.
In her personal capacity, Aurélie supports charitable initiatives dedicated to children with multiple disabilities. Her personal commitment extends into her leadership roles, where she actively promotes diversity and inclusion.
“My career reflects a deep commitment to a profession I am passionate about: banking, where relationships are built on trust, listening and discretion, and where people remain at the heart of everything we do. I am delighted to join a pure-play wealth management firm recognized for its agility, flexibility and pragmatic approach,” said Aurélie Tristant.
